What this connection does
Section titled “What this connection does”Supported Smartico tenants expose 23 Telecom in the Instant Messages gateway, so the connection uses a provider configuration rather than a generic webhook. 23 Telecom supplies the gateway credentials during onboarding; you then send SMS from Smartico assets and campaigns.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- An active workspace, an approved sender ID
and an E.164 test number, e.g.
+447911123456. - Your Smartico tenant/brand and the markets you’ll send to. You don’t create or paste 23 Telecom credentials — your account manager supplies the provider credentials during onboarding.
Connect 23 Telecom
Section titled “Connect 23 Telecom”-
Open Label → Gateways → Instant Messages and select the 23 Telecom provider shown in your tenant. Labels can vary; your Smartico CSM confirms the exact path during activation.
-
On Conditions, set the gateway name, Brand and only the routing conditions you need.
-
On Authentication & Configuration, enter the provider credentials your 23 Telecom account manager supplies during onboarding — you don’t generate them yourself (see the note).
-
On From, set your approved sender name and save the gateway.
-
Create an asset via Marketing → Assets → Instant Messages → SMS.
-
Add an SMS activity to a test campaign, pick 23 Telecom (or Automatic Selection), and send a preview to a test player.
-
Compare the Smartico communication log, the 23 Telecom message ID and the final delivery status.
Verify the result
Section titled “Verify the result”Accepted means 23 Telecom queued the message; delivered is the later carrier report. Confirm which delivery states your tenant surfaces in the Smartico communication log, and cross-check in 23 Telecom Message status or Statistics.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Symptom | Who owns it |
|---|---|
| No 23 Telecom provider in the gateway list | Smartico CSM (confirm tenant availability and enable or request the provider) |
| Authentication rejected | Recheck the provider credentials supplied during onboarding |
| Accepted but not delivered | 23 Telecom — message status |
Need help?
Section titled “Need help?”- Gateway, assets or campaign — Smartico support / your CSM.
