23 Telecom handles provider activation with your Symplify Success Manager,
including secure credentials, delivery reporting and a launch test. No API
wiring is required from this page.

## What this connection does

Symplify provider activation is managed by the platform teams. 23 Telecom and
Symplify agree the execution model, exchange credentials securely, configure
delivery reporting and run a test campaign **with you**.

## Before you start

Prepare your Symplify account/project, destination countries, expected TPS /
volume, [approved sender IDs](https://docs.23telecom.co.uk/sms/sender-id), whether the traffic is
transactional or marketing, your DLR / inbound requirements, and test numbers.
You'll also want an [active workspace](https://docs.23telecom.co.uk/account/workspaces).

## Connect 23 Telecom

1. Contact your **Symplify Success Manager** and introduce your **23 Telecom
   account manager**:

   > To connect 23 Telecom as our SMS provider in Symplify, please connect our
   > Symplify Success Manager with our 23 Telecom account manager. We would like
   > you to configure and test the connection with us.

2. The teams confirm the execution model and a secure credential exchange.

3. After activation, build a normal **Campaign / Journey** SMS — pick your
list/segment, **From**, **Content**, sending speed and expiration — and use
   **Send a test**.

Don't wire Symplify event **Webhooks** to send SMS — they are outbound event
notifications that fire once, not an SMS provider integration. The supported
path is the guided setup above.

## Verify the result

**Accepted** means queued; **delivered** is the later carrier report. Which
delivery states appear in Symplify is agreed per project — cross-check delivery in
23 Telecom [Message status](https://docs.23telecom.co.uk/sms/status) or [Statistics](https://docs.23telecom.co.uk/sms/statistics).

## Troubleshooting

| Question | Who owns it |
| --- | --- |
| Setting up or activating the provider | Symplify + 23 Telecom teams |
| Building the campaign / sending a test | Symplify support |
| Accepted but not delivered | 23 Telecom — [message status](https://docs.23telecom.co.uk/sms/status) |
